The Second Part of the Manuscript Jami’ al-Hisab fi al-Takht wa al-Tarab by Nasir al-Din al-Tusi.
A historical manuscript containing the second part of Jami’ al-Hisab fi al-Takht wa al-Tarab, a seminal work in algebra and arithmetic by the celebrated astronomer Nasir al-Din al-Tusi. This copy, dated 900 Hijri, includes elegant Arabic calligraphy with red and black ink on parchment. The manuscript bears ownership annotations by prominent astronomers such as Muhammad ibn Muhammad Sibt al-Mardini and Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Tayzfani al-Dimashqi. Bound in a later decorative embossed leather cover, the manuscript reflects its scholarly significance and historical legacy in Islamic mathematics.
